| and i finally found some time to post!!
WHAT A FANTASTIC WEEK!!! we averaged 60 kids a day (we were expecting 50) and it was so wonderful. We got everwhelmed with walk ins, but you could tell that our little church was "the place to be" last week. We had 6 children on Thursday who gave their hearts to Jesus...we have never had that before (we dont usually have kids who do this) and that made it so worth it.
I am so proud of our VBS team. I started having contractions on Tuesday afternoon, and my midwife had me come to the hospital to get monitored. She sent me home but told me that I was "done with VBS". My husband compromised wth me and asked me to take one day off and stay home, and then take it easy the rest of the week. My team did a great job and i didnt have to worry about a thing. Then on thursday and friday, i was able to come to the church, but i had lots of help so i could sit most of the time (no dancing for me!!)
I cant wait til next year!!! We still arent quite sure which of the programs we are going to do,but i already said i will happily direct either one.
