| | We close at 150 then have a small nursery of volunteers kids under 4, usually around 10 of them - so 160 for us. We have to close at that number due to fire regulations...we had 184 one year and got in trouble!

| This year we have set our "maximum" to 80 elementary & 20 preschool, but that doesn't count the many helpers (that are 5th/6th graders and older, I think). But we offer our VBS as a full-day KidsCamp, and do 2 weeks of it. (But no repeat campers allowed, except for volunteers' kids.) So we'll actually reach closer to 200 campers plus all the helpers.
Last year we allowed for 100 elementary campers (plus the 20 preschool) each week, and we felt it was too close to our space capacity for safety & comfort, so we've scaled it back down this year. Our fear is that we had so much response last year (almost reaching the 100 max both weeks), that we will be turning people away this year - the people who we really need to be reaching.

"I am the light of the world. Whoever follows me will never walk in darkness, but will have the light of life." ~John 8:12 (NIV) |

| | Anybody know what that result is in the bottom of the poll? It's got one vote but I didn't put a line there? Just want to know what the number is so I can add it into my calculations! BTW...If you haven't voted yet, please do so, I am presenting this stuff this coming Sunday night, March 4th, and would like to have as many of your numbers as possible! Thanks so much! WAH-HOO!

| This is our 4th VBS at this church--there was NONE here prior to that--we had about 20 kids total the first yr--about 65 total last yr--our avg last yr was 50 per night--God is good! We constantly pray for more kids! We now invite our local homeless shelter and they send 10-15 kids per night...Kimberly

| We plan for 80 (the most we can fit) and we had between 60 - 65 last year. Hopefully we will be full this year with kiddos and volunteers!

| | We would love to have on the high end of the 125-150 range. I know that if the Lord brings that many children, He will provide. I would love to have one of those overflowing blessings where we have to call in the reserves, and have to hustle to make things work. I have prayed for years for it, but the Lord hasn`t seen it to bless us in this way. I will still wait on Him this year, and see what He has in store for us. Katie |
