| | Our Power Lab concluded last week and it was a powerful experience for all of the children who participated. I wanted to share some of our decorating pictures.
The experiments and activities really held their attention and many children wanted to know more about Jesus giving us the power to live forever...AH-HA!
We borrowed Doreen's amazing Bible Buddies, flasks and signs. My Bible Blast station leader did the incredible backdrop. I knew that Jamie was making something for the main area, but I didn't know exactly what he was up to. WOW, he blew me away! It turns out that he has experience with set design from college theater productions and summer stock theater. I was really surprised!!!
Below are some pictures of the entrance area where the children were welcomed each day!
Power Lab has been such a blessing. We had 40 less participants than last year, partly because of a change in age requirement to eliminate the youngest three-year-olds with no preschool experience. I think that it was a good change overall; however, I would have liked to have reached even more children. We had 98 participants, most of whom were from outside of our church!
God Bless,
