| Youth Director
Responsibilities include weekly programming, empowering and leading adult volunteers to be in ministry with children and youth, connecting youth with the rest of the church, and facilitating camping, VBS and missions programs. The director has the responsibility to guide and develop the youth ministry according to the vision, purpose, and doctrine compatible with the United Methodist theology and the existing pastoral leadership. The director will need to bring high levels of passion and energy for establishing meaningful Christian relationships with children and youth to help them grow spiritually and personally. The director, as a disciple of Christ, will foster and model for our children and youth a relationship with Christ.
Qualifications include:
1.Must have a passion, energy and joy for ministering to children and youth.
2.Possess strong teaching, interpersonal and organizational skills.
3.Experience in Children and/or Youth Ministries.
4.Must have a familiarity and commitment to United Methodist doctrine and heritage.
5.Is personally compatible with the mission and core values of CUMC
Salary range $25-35,000 per year. Benefits include individual health insurance, vacation, and retirement plan after completion of probation.
