I wondered if anyone from Group can answer this question - is next year's Kid 2 Kid project going to be compatible with the Rome VBS?  We did not do the soccer balls this year because it did not fit into the Marketpalce well in Jerusalem.  The previous years projects (bears and blankets) could have been set up as a shop, but the soccer balls didn't lend themselves that way.  Is there thought that next year's project will be simpler to incorporate?  Thank you!

You're welcome to incorporate the Comfort Critter Operation Kid-to-Kid project (from Crocodile Dock) into Rome. Our partner, International Bible Society, is recommending a slightly different approach (and will include materials in the Starter Kit). Since Rome focuses on the underground church, we'd encourage churches to support the underground church today. IBS has contacts with the underground church in the Middle East and have suggestions for practical things these ministries need.

Each day in Rome, participants use Roman denarii in the Marketplace. One way to incorporate missions is to have kids use real coins instead. Then the money you collect through the Marketplace can be sent to support the underground church in the Middle East.

Let me know if you have any questions.
