There's also the Chadder station, which is called Dockside Drive-In for Crocodile Dock.

Curious if these are official names now for the stations, or are they still being discussed?

JOSH,

Dockside drive in......its in water. Should be Dock-N-Float. I sure hope Chadder doesn't have a run in with a crocodile. It time for chadder to see the light and be fun again. I did not like the dungeon lab at all, should have been a modern lab. Kids like to laugh. Some of the other chadders were more fun. The kids got a kick out of the spotlight drama and ask to see it again and again. No one wanted us to play chadder again.

Chadder's is always a hit for our kids.  They loved the science that went along with this past one.   One of our cradleroll girls (she's 2) came in every night saying "Chadder Chadder"  and her mom asked us to let her watch it again before she left one night for her birthday suprise.  This past weekend at church, our pastor was showing a power point with his sermon, and from the back we all heard her say out loud "It's time for Chadders"    I just sat there and smiled as it helped remind our church how much our kids, no matter what their age, love VBS!

Our kids and adults love the Chadder videos. We have a guy in a Chadder costume, who gets up front after the video and gives the kids advice that goes along with the video of the day. He makes and impact on "God can help no matter what the problem is". Kids of all ages ask where is Chadder when they come in. He even plays in our games. Have you ever smelled a wet Chipmonk we did, it was 105 in the shade 2 nights in a row and our Chadder was walking and running around in that fur costume. THAT IS DEDICATION! We played quite a few water games to cool off. Can't wait to see what kid of trouble Chadder gets into next year. Diana for Iowa

Just in case anyone missed it, Chadder will (hopefully) have an elementary and a preschool version for next year according to Jody!  I guess this year was more scary, but I've always thought Chadder's scrapes were real (volcano, dehydrated in the desert, in jail, etc.)

This was my first year doing Group and when I watched the Chadder video, I was like "are you kidding me?"  It was corny, annoying and rather baby-ish.  However, my station leader said the kids got into it after the first day.  They had the initial "huh" factor when they watched the first segment but once the second day rolled around they were hooked and loved it.  I even had kids that couldn't be there on Friday come to me begging me to tell them the ending!

Chadder is always fun with our kids ! We do an evening VBS so have to shorten things so we combine Chadder with snacks. I found a puppet that looks just like Chadder and it is used at different stations.

The Station names from the Field-test are the names that are used in the published program. They never change from the Field-test to the curriculum.
