Anyone has or know someone who may want to donate a Pilot shirt (with epaulets) size medium? Also looking for an inflatable or model airplane and anything else I can use to decorate my Children's Church with a Travel theme. We are doing an around the world sermon series.

Also, any ideas, suggestions or links to places where I can get appropriate items/deco is appreciated. I have searched, but not sure what to type. I did Pilots, travel agencies, inflatable planes, airports, but nothing appropriate came up. Thanks.

I did decorate one side of our room as the inside of a plane with windows. You can see the clouds outside! Will post pictures tomorrow after our "take off" flight.

 PJ,

I have seen pictures of a children's ministry room decorated with airplanes.  They took ceiling fans and mounted them on the wall for the propellers and painted the plane.  You could probably use smaller fans the same way if they are high enough that a child could not reach them. They also put chain link on the wall to look like you were on the outside of an airport looking in.  They called the ministry "Heirforce."  It was really cool.  Just an idea, hope that helps some.

By the way, it's great to see you around the forum.  I probably need to visit your web site soon for ideas.  We just finished vbs and plan on keeping the powerlab them for the quarter with me coming up with all the lessons.  I am going to need ideas and I know you have some awesome ones on your wedsite.

God Bless,

Angie

Thanks Angie! I think the chain link idea is great. I'll need to work on that one. I like the propeller idea too, but I decorated the room like the inside of an airplane.

OH, and I will be around from time to time. Although there are those to whom it would make no difference I plan to continue being a blessing to all, especially since this is for the Lord and the children.
