Our Sunday evening small group is using this curriculum for the summer months.  We absolutely love it!  We have a wide range of ages in our group.........students, singles, married, retirees, and grandparents and the material is relevant to all.

The music, video, 'play time' and study help us reach down in our hearts to uncover what thoughts have been buried  under years of 'same ole, same ole' study.  This is a fresh curriculum and really helps each participant answer the question Jesus asked his disciples, "But who do YOU say that I am?" (Emphasis mine)

I hope the authors are working on more!

Lori

We will have our last lesson this next Sunday night.  It has been a great experience!  When I asked the group what they wanted to study next, they asked if there were more like this.  Do you have any suggestions Rick?

Lori,
Can you tell me the age makeup of your group? That would give me a better idea of what to recommend. Thanks so much for your feedback, by the way. It means a lot to us.
Grace,
Rick

Rick, currently we have a very broad range of ages.  From early 20's to 60's.  There is one young man in his 20's that specifically requested more studies like this.  My husband and I are in our late 40's and we also would like more studies like this.   This probably doesn't help much!

This study has provided us a way to study Jesus unlike we've studied Him before.  Actually, it isn't so much 'studying' Him as it is 'getting to know' Him in a fresh way.  I always smile when I read the Rules of Engagement regarding the 'Sunday School answer we expect to hear'.  I wonder how many years we've relied on those types of answers!?!

Again, thank you for publishing the study you and your wife created out of "passion and desperation".  I can relate to the desperate thirst for more of Jesus and this study has sparked a thirst in those who've attended with us.

Lori,
Just thought I'd let you know that I wrote, and Group just published, a new 10-week set of studies called Ten Tough Things: A Bold Plunge Into the Christian Life. While I wrote the studies to be used in a senior high setting, I plan to do them with an adult group in our church later this spring. Like the In Pursuit of Jesus studies, these can be used for adults or teenagers. And this one is crafted so you only need participant books—there's no leader's guide. Anyway, thought I'd let you know. Ten Tough Things will be released in about 10 days.
Grace,
Rick
