| For about the past 5 years, my sister, husband and I have led "children's church." Our children stay in the sanctuary with their parents for about 40 minutes (through the children's sermon). We then exit and go to my Sunday school room. In the past I have either used ideas from www.sermons4kids.com or have found other things on the Internet. Most recently I have tried to use the stories from PL and the "experiments" for each day in the elementary Bible books. While I'm telling a story, the children are having a light snack, usually juice and crackers. I am feeling the need to change how we spend those 20 minutes -- any ideas? I have looked at curriculum, but don't want to invest a lot of money for such a short amount of time. We three leaders are also Sunday school teachers and I direct VBS (all volunteer positions). Any ideas would be great!
