laceName w:st="on">FirstlaceName> laceName w:st="on">UnitedlaceName> laceName w:st="on">MethodistlaceName> laceType w:st="on">ChurchlaceType> is seeking a bright, enthusiastic, responsible individual to serve in a 9 month college ministry internship from September1 – May 31.  We are a vibrant church with excellent staff, facilities, and congregation located in Fort Smith, AR.  The intern will work very closely with the college minister to fulfill the mission of The Bridge United Methodist Campus Ministry, an outreach ministry of First UMC to the laceType w:st="on">UniversitylaceType> of laceName w:st="on">ArkansaslaceName> at Fort Smith. 

Duties for the internship include but are not limited to coordinating our Monday Meals program; assisting with worship events; teaching Bible study, Sunday School class, and other small groups; coordinate publicity efforts on and off the UA Fort Smith campus; etc.  The position requires a minimum of 20 hours that include Sunday morning worship and Sunday School, office hours, and regular weekly activities of the campus ministry.  Applicants should have completed at least their freshman year of college and be willing and able to live in the Fort Smith area.  The position pays a stipend of $8,400.00.  For a complete job description contact Todd Vick at ersonName w:st="on">tvick@fsfumc.orgersonName>, or for more information you can check out our web site at www.fsfumc.org
