Are high gas prices affecting your midweek activity attendance?
If so, how are you scheduling to reduce the burden on families? [/b
If we don't make any changes at our church, we are asking parents to drive their children to church Sundays, Sunday evenings and Wednesday night. Sunday evening could require multiple trips if you also have a child in the Youth programs. That's 4 trips to church each week! And that doesn't count the trips our parents make to church for an adult small group Bible Study or leadership team meetings.
For families involved in ministry and service opportunities, which we encourage all families to do, it's equal to a 5 day work week commute schedule.[b] YOW!
