before our little church commits to one of the programs, I would like to know some things about the Rome Program, if possible
(so i know how many people i would need)

How many shops are there?

How many people in each drama?

SO i would need?

Tribe leaders

Drama people

Shopkeepers

Paul

Games Person

Teacher (like the synogogue person in JM?)

Gathering Leader?

any info you could give me would be super helpful as i present the choices to our church.

Some of it depends on how many people you plan on having. For example, if you've got 50 or fewer attendees, you don't need all 10 marketplace shops. So that's up to you. And some of the shopkeepers double as drama team members, so that would affect the number of volunteers, too. But here's a general guideline:

1 Roman Family Leader for every 10 people

1 shopkeeper per shop

Paul, Brutus (his guard), and 2 members of the Underground church

up to 7 people for drama (you only need each person for one day)

Extollo (worship) leader

Apprenticeship Games leader (The Extollo Leader can lead games, if that works for you)

That should give you a good idea of the volunteers needed.

This information is invaluable for me right now! Thank you so much! I'm trying to get the costume planning started and I needed a count of people too. In order for me to go full force into my costume tasks, could you possibly give out one more piece of information?

Exactly how many Romans will be in the program? For example, I know "Brutus" will be a Roman soldier. (By the way, the Promo Video showed 2 soldiers. Any info on that?) And I also saw that there was a Roman messenger in the video online. Will the rest of the marketplace consist of Jewish people, Romans, or both? (Including the shopkeepers and other leaders too.)I'm trying to figure out how many Roman style outfits we need to buy/make.

Thank you so much again and God bless!

We used generic Bible-time costumes for everyone except the Roman soldiers, and we had a total of 3 of them. Brutus, plus 2 guards in a drama. And we found a local church to borrow 2 of the costumes from, since they had them from their Christmas program. Networking is the way to go!

The Bible-times costume patterns pack is included in your starter kit, too.
