Hi there!
I'm running out of fun ideas to use to begin our Sunday School time with our 9 and 10 year olds. Can anyone recommend a resource or two that has a lot of tried and true ideas for breaking the ice and getting to know 9 and 10 year olds?

Have you looked at Group's Grapple? Each quarter, you get dozens of simple games (high and low energy) that preteens LOVE!
