| Thanks, Sarah--I think it is the committment that holds them back. We have tried starting as one big group and then breaking out the older kids--some weeks it works, some weeks it doesn't, depending on who is there to take them out...may try that again, now that my "helper group" is more stable...keep praying for us and thanks for the suggstions! | | Just wanted to thank you all once again for your input. We had our SS dinner and meeting Sunday after church. The lady who teaches 1 & 2nd spoke up to take our K kiddos in with her class and we will have 3 & 4 and pre k. This coming Sunday Lana will be gone so we will have her 1 & 2nd grade with us and will have an opportunity to explain to our K kiddos what is happening and why. I'm looking forward to the change especially since we have 2 new 3 yr old in our class now and really need to concentrate on them. Thanks again!! Gay |

| | Well Sunday a week ago I was able to explain to our Kindergarten kids that they were being promoted into Ms. Lana's 1 & 2nd grade class. They were all okay with it. I also sent letters out to these kids to explain it once again and to make sure they knew that Jane and I would miss them in our class but we were proud of them and knew they were ready to be promoted. They had their first class with her this last Sunday. Several of them stopped by our classroom to say hi and give us a hug but all of them said they had fun in their new class (as we knew they would)!! LOL We only had 5 in our class but 4 of those 5 were 3 yrs old!! LOL Just form a picture in your mind of us washing the feet of those children after they had made a footprint in tempura paint!!! What fun!! LOL Gay |
