Danielle-

Our church does a very low key one in Elgin IL.  We are planning it on December 13th from 3 until 6 pm.  We are a church that was once big and hopes to be again, but needs to recruit volunteers and build our congregation.  We have animals, and a few booths.  We also have cookies and cocoa/coffee.  If you want to check it out, we are Epworth United Methodist at the corner of Randall Rd. and Highland Ave. in Elgin.  We would love to have you!

we are also doing our second NIB this year. We have done HA for VBS for the last two summers as well. The kids and parents cant seem to get enough of it, and as this is HA 4, we are set-- theres a little room in the church basement that holds everything you need to transform our fellowship hall into a bible times village, folks know what you are asking when you ask for volunteers. Its starting to seem easy! we are is utah

We tried Night in Bethlehem for the first time this year.  It was a fairly small event, as we are a fairly small church, but we think it went well.  It seemed well designed and easy for each of the volunteers. (Probably easier still if you follow Group's directions and split the preparation responsibilities - my family did all the set-up, decorating and recruiting because we're crazy.)

If you'd like to see some pictures, I have them on my blog:

Hope that helps.
