Hey Everybody,

I am two years into college and I have decided to get a degree in Youth Ministry. I have been working at my church as a volunteer in the Middle School ministry these past two years and it's been a blast.

Anyway, due to my current situation I don't want to relocate for school so I have been looking into youth ministry degrees offered online. A simple google search turned up several options but I figured that this would be a great place to get some advice as well. If any of you have a suggestion or know of a good program offered online I would love to read your response!

Summit Theological Seminary is good. (summit1.edu) It's not online, but it's all correspondence courses through the mail. It's a "work at your own pace" school, so if you're serving in an active ministry, that's a BIG plus. Sometimes youth ministry schedules get packed, and you aren't able to get to school stuff. I'm sure you can relate if you're dealing with middle school!

You could also look into Global University's Berean School of the Bible. It is correspondence as well, but highly rated.

Is the degree from Liberty fully accredited? Are you able to take the BS degree and continue for a Masters somewhere?

Yes.  Liberty is and you then have access to their Seminary.  Rated #3 in online courses last year.
