laceName w:st="on">ReallaceName> laceName w:st="on">LifelaceName> laceName w:st="on">FamilylaceName> laceType w:st="on">ChurchlaceType> on the Rock in Conroe, Texas, is seeking a youth pastor for ages 13 through college. We are a spirit-filled, non-denominational church located 40 miles north of Houston. Our mission is to reach and raise people up to make a difference in their neighborhoods, city, country and world.  We are excited to be sending out our founding pastor with our first church plant to Cleburne, TX. Currently we are at about 60 in attendance, but believe God for an increase to about 300 this coming year.

For this position, we are looking for someone who has a passionate, growing, personal relationship with Jesus Christ as their Savior with a clear calling to youth ministry. This person would provide leadership, cast vision, and effectively equip volunteers and corresponding staff to partner in the ministry under their oversight. This not only includes weekly youth meetings and social events, but leadership training, missions, outreach and other ministry opportunities for the youth to make a real difference.

While long-term experience is preferable to serving in this position, we also understand that experience has to start somewhere. More than experience, the qualifications for this position are: to be called to youth ministry loving those you serve; a Christ-like attitude; submitted to the vision, policies, and practices of Real Life Family Church on the Rock; strong oral and written communication skills which include a consistent and effective Biblical teaching ability; possess the faith and vision to lay it on the line to see God’s will done for this generation; be computer literate, creative and effective in managing multiple priorities and assignments.

While this position currently is offered as a volunteer position, it will grow into a full-time paid position. We are not looking for someone to just fill in as time dictates but is called to be a youth pastor as a career and will be positioned to do so as God grows the church.

As the new Senior Pastor, I am excited and have vision for God building this church into something bigger than me. If you are someone who feels like you fit the description above and are willing to step out in faith to see God use you to take the youth ministry of our church from where we are now to something bigger than you in the future, email us today.
