We did a peeny drive with the local schools. If the children brought in x-amount of peenies then the teachers/staff had to wear their PJ's to school for x-a number of days. The kids loved it and we did pretty good. Maybe your paster would agree to wear his PJ's in the pulpit for so many pennies.

| We held a pancake breakfast following our 8am and 10 am services yesterday and made $513 towards VBS. We served pancakes (that we made), sausage (donated by McDonalds), watermelon slices, orange juice and coffee. A local grocery store gave us a $25 gift card towards our supply purchase, so the total out of pocket expense for us was about $50.00. We had 4 adults cooking, and then had the Sunday School children serve everyone breakfast, which the people LOVED!! A lot of people who weren't able to stay actually donated money to the cause. In all, it was a great fundraiser and didn't take a lot of time to pull off.

Had our second annual VBS Garage Sale yesterday. Made around $625. Lots of work but worth it.
