| I use LIO for our church midweek program for elementary aged children and I have a blast dressing in costumes and creating characters to go with the theme. I sometimes have a hard time linking the theme of the modules with what is being taught. Now I got it with the Spelunkers unit where we were digging deep into the word of God, I wrote in before asking for links on Wilderness trail. I am thinking I have the idea on what the point of using a space theme for teaching the nature of God (Star Quest), but I love how the experts put it. Could i please get an expert view on the corelation between space and the nature of God! Thanks!

| I think the space theme captures the vastness of who God is. The theme verse captures it well, "God is the king over all the earth." But even beyond the earth, we can expand our view to all that God created and see how that points to his plan for us (if the universe functions so well because of God's plan, we can trust that his plan for our life is good, too). We see how perfect he is in how amazing his creation is. And because his creation demonstrates his love for us in how he provides for our needs, we see his love, too. In other words, just like space is bigger than we can conceive, God is even bigger and more amazing!
