I am trying to come up with a creative name for my 5th and 6th graders. Any suggestions ?

We simply went with CLUB56 (Christ Leading Us Beyond 5th & 6th Grade)

Our verse if Deuteromony 6:5-6.... That's 5th book of the Bible, 6th chapter, 5th & 6th verse.

It's not original, I borrow it from another CM friend.

I sat here a long time thinking about a good name for your group. I think CLUB56 says it all. I have used a lot of different names for kids groups, Kids.com, CLUB Wednesday (Children Loving & Understanding the Bible - not as clever as Christ Leading Us Beyond 5/6 grade, which is far better), and now we have VIS Kids, where kids learn Very Important Stuff. Our ministry group is Vision Ministries, so VIS Kids worked for us. You could think about your church name, ministry name, town name, school mascot, and maybe something would look better than CLUB56, but I bet it won't! I know over another group called CrossOver that is a tween group going from children's ministry to youth. Best of luck in planning!

Thank You for your help, I think we have decided on Route 56 playing on the Spiritual journey side of it.

Route 56 - Cool idea.... Opens the door for lots of creative decorations and lesson themes.

I really like Route 56. It will be very easy to utilize in decorating and even logos for the program, and it's catchy for the kids to remember. Good choice!
