We have recently started using the Grapple Curriculum and I'm excited for the potential of the online component.
I am curious to know if there are improvements in the works for the "Let's Talk" forum, as it seems to be rather... minimalist... at this point. I do appreciate that security needs to be the primary concern, so I assume that it is how it is now so we can be sure that security is maintained as features are added? Otherwise, why not have a forum like the one we're talking in here, with the private messaging functions limited?
For example, is there any way to highlight the new posts, or bring the posts with new replies to the top of a forum, or look at a listing of all the posts since last visit, etc??
Also, is there a way to make it not be constrained within a frame, or make the replies automatically wrap within the frame?
Thanks!

One other thing I'm wondering about-
The annoucements and calendar: whenever a student clicks to read them, it brings it up as the input form, the same thing used to post the announcements or calendar events, just with the input fields greyed out. Is it possible to make this look a bit more... finished? i.e., to just have the title and the announcement text displayed regularly on a page instead of within the confines of the editing form? That would make it a lot easier as far as readability.
My students, their parents, and I are all excited about the Grapple online component. I feel that making these kind of changes will make it easier and better for them.
Please let me know if I should be submitting these suggestions elsewhere, as I don't want to be sending critiques to the wrong people.
Thanks!

| Yeah! i think it would be great to even have postings on a "wall", like on Facebook. that way you could still message but it would be visible to everyone. also i think it would be cool if when they clicked on calendar events, an actual calendar popped up... you could really make this site awesome, and more user friendly just by doing a few minor touch ups!
