| | We are doing just the marketplace portion of JM on the Saturday before Easter. I found the harps, candles and shopkeepers manual online a while back but need some other resources. Are they somewhere on the site that I'm just missing? Can anyone give me a heads up on good ideas for the marketplace portion? We have never done anything like this before. We've always had an egg hunt but wanted something different this year. We have also always done the "easy" VBS curriculum. Any ideas would be very appreciated!

This links to the 2005 webboard and Pastor Joe's summary of what they did at his JM, with lots of links to sites he bought from. Great info. Also, if you search for amy8187 on that board, you'll find her daily summaries which were wonderful.
We found that jewelry making was a favorite for kids and adults. We had wooden cross necklaces from OTC and an assortment of beads, and the kids just added beads to the necklaces. Hope this helps. I can tell you more of what we did and will do again this year if you need more info.

| | FYI Sarah, Some links to the post Syndee referred to below are to an old server. Here is the new link to my 1st Century Workshop for JM. http://riveroflifeweb.com/VBS2005pix/PJWorkshop.htm
