I have worked in many areas that I just didn't want to do..plain and simple.  I find that I can offer a hand as long as I am not taken advantage of.  Sometimes the people within the church get asked to do a ministry "until they find a permanant replacement" and that person does it without complaint and since someone is filling the spot....they forget to look for someone permanant.

I find that if you put someone in an area they are not passionate about, they eventually resent that area of ministry.  It begins to feel like an obligation, a chore rather than something that they love to do.
