 I am one of two CM directors, at present (we have one for Sunday morning and one for Sunday nights) and then we have an Awana Commander on Wednesday nights.  Awana is the only one that we have registration in and it is done sparingly.  I see the need but I want to know how to pass that need to others in CM.

Our Church takes very detailed attendance information on Sunday, but not on Wednesday nights. I don't know why other than the Wednesday night program is run by our Women's ministry leadership and i guess they didn't think it was important. It's frustrating to me as the Children's Minister mainly for safety and security reason. Parents drop children off on Wednesday nights, so what would the teachers do if their were an emergency and they needed to contact a parent? I also don't have a way to get to know families of children who visit on Wednesday nights without attendance records and parent sign in.

Consider talking with the other teams about the safety aspect and visitation opportunities of attendance record keeping.
