Is ministry and serving an act of worship?
If it is can a person serve or minister every Sunday at church and experience a just as meaningful worship experience as they would if they were sitting in the pew listening to music and a preacher's sermon?
Just thinking . . . .

| Andy, Are you asking if someone is serving in the church if that is as meaningful as attending a service? Matt, Forum Moderator

Serving/ministering is great, and serving/ministering (are they really 2 different things?) is most definitely a form of worship.
However, they do not, in any way, take the place of worshiping together with other believers. Every person needs to be involved in corporate worship!
On top of that, if you are only ministering and not learning from others (sitting under someone else's preaching/teaching), you tend to get spiritually drained and/or self-centered/prideful. Even when your personal spiritual walk is solid. It is a very dangerous path to be continually serving/ministering without having some of the grounding that you only get by hearing what God is doing/speaking into/through someone else in a head leadership position.
