BETHLEHEM -- Lakeville United Methodist Church - June 28-July 2 from 6:00-8:30 pm nightly
- Small budget, small space, small number of volunteers
- Fewer than 40 children, kindergarten through grade 5
- 4 tribes and 4-5 shops
- church is in northeastern Ohio, approximately an hour southwest of Canton and Akron and southeast of Mansfield and Wooster
BETHLEHEM -- Liberty Chapel United Methodist Church - July 13-17 from 9:30 am-noon daily

Unfortunately, we keep everything and, since we'll be doing 3 HLA programs this summer, I can't even help you with a loan. You can make costumes for less than $1 apiece if you can get to a Wal Mart that still carries fabric. Hit their $1/yard table and buy 1-3/4 yd. pieces. Cut those pieces in half. Fold each piece in half and cut a "V" on the fold to make a neck hole. Add a piece of clothesline around the waist and you've got a tunic! If you have anyone who sews, they can zig-zag over the raw edges an they'll hold up better. I hope you will visit! Let me know which day and if you need directions and I'll be looking for you!

| One more question - We are a church whose numbers have gone down but historically our VBS has been at least 90-100 kids (many from the community). How many market place booths would you suggest? My thought is 4-6 (maybe these - woodworking, metal, leatherworking, abacus, food, togo, wreath making). Finally of the marketplace activities which do you think are the easiest, most budget friendly to pull off in 6 weeks? You seem to have a lot of experience with these HLA formats.
