Thanks for your continued ideas and suggestions. I wish this were more like the VBS theme with an end date that is firm! By the way, next Monday is the day (for VBS). I can tell you I was able to take part in the VBS field test along with my three girls and my husband, and it was awesome! Can't wait for you to experience it!

But, back to the question. No update yet. We thought we were close to an announcement (when I asked for your prayers) and hit a snag. So we ask for your continued prayers for direction on this. Looks like it could be another month, and I am sorry about that. In the mean time, you'll at least get to know the new VBS theme!

I'll continue to post here as we have any changes!

I'm very late getting into this discussion and have really just scanned the post so forgive me for repeating something already answered or stated.

I am the interim children's ministeries director of a brand new church.  Our first Sunday School lesson was September 2006.  The summer leading up to our first day of church I was looking at creating our own curriculum because we wanted something that would really fit with being the new church in town.  We wanted something that was unique yet easy for new christian adults to help teach because we don't have a lot of experienced teachers to pull from.  I wasn't looking for a curriculum to purchase.  I had been praying for the Lord's help and I received in the mail information on LIO from Group.  It was EXACTLY what I had been trying to piece together myself.  It has been so fun and easy to use and the kids LOVE it.  We have purchased and used all 12 modules (currently using July's).

I was just about to make my next semester purchase, when I noticed that what is out for fall is what we used last year.  I work full time as an Engineer and don't have time for forums so I had no idea about the issue of stopping production.  I got on earlier and came across this information.  I was totally blown away.  I am very very disappointed.

I had been considering adding Grapple for our 5th through 6th graders and continuing with LIO for our Pre-K through 4th but now I have no idea what I'm going to do.  I'm actually devastated.  We have VBS the 16th through 20th (Groups Avalanche Ranch) and I have not idea how I am going to come up with something by Aug 1st.  I understand cost/benefit ratios but I can't repeat last years stuff with the kids.  It was so good they got it.  They can repeat the Bible verse to you and tell you what memory maker goes with which theme.  They scream "God At Work" and the entire sunday school area can hear them.  I mean everyone.  Maybe we failed Group by not letting you know how great this material is.  Maybe it is too late but I really think you've made a mistake by stopping production.

I don't know what I'll do for the fall but I'll think long and hard before I purchase  material from Group simply because you might not support it.

Jo, thanks so much for sharing your thoughts and your feedback. We do appreciate hearing it!

From this end, we are still looking into getting Group's Living Inside Out back in production. In the meantime, though, we'd like to see if there is any other way we can help you out, since we know for sure we will not have any more modules this year. I would love to connect you with Karen Huggins, who serves your area. If you want to send me your email address or phone (dbernard@group.com), I'll connect you and see how we might be able to help you out, if possible, in the mean time.

We do appreciate your continued thoughts, ideas, and prayers as we work on how to continue the production of Group's Living Inside Out.

God bless you and your ministry.

I used LIO last from last Fall to Feb. I loved LIO and the kids in inner city Miami did too! It was great for my volunteers and I didn't have to be up front doing everything. I used to the music and games during aftercare and the Christmas module during Christmas camp.

I resigned my position in Feb. to raise support to be a missionary to the kids in the International community of Bangkok, Thailand. I've been looking for what curriculum to use and found High Point from GPH. It's similar to LIO. They use passports and a traveling theme. However, the graphics aren't as good. So I just made the decision to use LIO.

I will make the modules last as looooonnnnngggg as possible and hopefully by then Group will have come to their senses and started to produce more!!!!

I have just got our church to choose the Living inside out curriculum and and VERY concerned that it appears that you will not be making more modules.  I am nervous about starting this then running out of curriculum next year.  It was impossible to get the board to decide on a curriculum they finally did and I was so relieved now I'm back to being stressed.  This really is frustrating.

Is there any possibility LIO will continue?

I am planned out to Spring 2008 using various publishers' VBS materials, but I would go back to LIO if there was anything new.

Hi, all! Thanks for your continued messages. No new news yet. I am sorry that this work to get Living Inside Out back into production is taking longer than you all would like! Nothing yet on when... I'll post as soon as I know more.

Thanks for your continued prayers!

Deb,

Just wondering if there has been an update on this?
