Thanks for hanging out this long, Mark. I know you need to keep things moving for your schedule. I'll continue to post updates here as I have them.

I would appreciate your thoughts on what you've found, if you don't mind, at dbernard@group.com. Your thoughts on your goals or criteria your curriculum needs to meet as well as what you like and what could be improved still can help shape our direction.

God bless!

Well, I'm glad I decided to check this forum out today. I have just finished putting together a proposal to my church board to switch to LIO for our children's division classes. We are a small church with a lot of kids and we have been having a very difficult time staffing all our divisions adequately. I was very excited about this curriculum and was convinced that I had found the answer to our problem... I know that there is one year's worth of this program available but I don't know if it is worth it to try to convince the board to go with this big of a change if we can't plan on continuing it, and like others on this board, I do not have the time to piece something else together. I am dissapointed that nothing in the literature I received from Group said anything about halting production after summer, however I did think it was a little strange that the catalogue only showe 1 year's worth of modules.

I hope things get straightened out really soon (like before next Tuesday's board meeting)

Thanks, Rondee. We appreciate hearing your perceptions. We have tried to make it clear that we have 12 modules, and not that this is ongoing (at least for today), but I could see that perhaps a church wouldn't even think that this was 'only 12.' So I apologize for any confusion.

Our team here is meeting diligently on providing additional programming for churches that are looking for a large-group/small-group format. As you have probably read, I was hoping to have an update with a date and more info by the end of May. I don't have that info yet, but we do continue to work on this schedule! And it would involve at least another year's worth of materials. Please check back here if you'd like an update, although I don't know that we'll have one for your meeting tomorrow.

If you have any questions about any of the other offerings, let me know. Some of our other lines can also be done in a large-group/small-group format as well, but typically have less or no video in the large-group time.

God bless you and your ministry!

Well, there was that 3-year scope and sequence published when LIO was introduced. So that would depend on when someone walked into the program.

Excellent point! I forget how long we all sometimes hang on to fliers and catalogs! Thanks for the reminder!

Nothing official yet, but wanted to ask for your continued prayers. We are close to being able to announce some information/dates for our production schedule, and we want to continue to seek God's direction! Thanks!

This is almost like the anticipation I we get when we are waiting for them to announce the next VBS theme!  Ok...well, just slightly under that but not by too much.

Thanks for the update Deb.  Do you think it will be by the end of June?

Well, I am preparing to conduct our first LIO session this weekend so I hope all goes well. One thing I noticed in going through the materials; although the weekly lessons are independant of each other and one of the selling points is that they can be used in any order, I noticed that several times another week is referenced or it is in another way assumed that they are being used in the order given (tell the children that they can take home their Memory Maker
