We did 2 fund raisers and we have over $2,000.  First we ended last year with a few hundred extra dollars by Doing our offering as a contest between 2 of our adults.  Last year it was between my co-director (female) and our fun room leader (male).  The one who did not raise the most money got slimed.  It was not just adults..the kids were bringing in the offering also!!

Then this fall our Mens Ministry decided to have a Bazzar.  They opened it up to the whole church to get involved.  VBS took charge of the bake sale.  Raised over $900!!!!

Then at Easter we did an Egg Sale (Shared it with our Praise Team), Each Ministry made over $1,000!! (3,000 + eggs) It was awesome.

We are a church of about 100 but we all pulled together made baked goods and sold eggs....and now that it's time to work on VBS we don't need to worry about doing a fundraiser to cover anythingelse.  I know this may be late but maybe something to keep in mind for next year!

Blessings,

Jenn in PA

We made homemade chocolate covered Peanut Butter and Coconut.  They were delicious!

Those eggs sound wonderful! My Mother-in-law's church makes them for Easter every year and sends us a huge box! So delicious! What a tasty ministry!
