| Hi everyone- I just figured out that the FWF curriculum doesn't cover the summer. So I'm trying to be creative with some ideas and need some help. I'm going to stick with the stories of the Group curriculum timeline, but am thinking of doing interest groups. The stories span from Abraham through the Exodus. I'd like to offer 2-3 cl each week that gives kids skills while emphasizing the stories. I was thinking cooking, puppetry, drama, etc. Does anyone have any experience with this type of thing? Do you know of any recipes, interests, etc. that would fit these stories? Your ideas would be much appreciated. I will be doing about 8 of these lessons during the summer due to our VBS and summer outreach. I really want to grab the attention of the students so the summer isn't a vacation in their faith. Thanks! Kate

Do you have Group's IT? It's a data base of idea for lessons.
If not, go online to www.Faithweaver.com and look at the extra ideas for the summer lessons.
You've probably already done this, but www.childrensministry.com is a great place to search for back issue ideas!
