| | I feel like this is unnecessary because I know some of you are covering me in constant prayer, but I wanted to post this for my own relief. Please keep my oldest son in your prayers. He returned to school this week with a few good days, but Friday was not fun. Unfortunately the Educational consultant we have worked with for 9 years was not available last week and now this week she can't get to the school until Thursday. And the other one I work with is on Vacation with his wife this week coming. It will be a long month, but it looks like the TEAM is talking about a new school. At this point I have been looking and have not found a match. I'm not sure what we are going to do so I am leaving it with Jesus. I don't know what more foot work there is to do. Now I'm also asking for personal health prayers. I have a follow up appointment tomorrow (Monday) at 9:30. I'm nervous but I'm not. I feel like God has too much on my plate for me to be sick right now. And of course this week I have to focus on a budget proposal for VBS. I've got to find some time to play with that Tool box. I know I know, one day at a time. Giant hugs! And thanks for the prayers.

| | Just thought I would give an update and thank you for your continued support through prayer. This week will be quite a week. My youngest is in a musical and has a lead role. He has dress rehearsal all week as well as he won the school spelling bee so the regional is Wednesday. My oldest has been in school, but the problem is that his program has had to change drastically and well, we are looking at alternative placement because the ability to meet his needs just isn't there. They are doing the best they can in areas they can, but.........we have a meeting on Friday. Please pray all goes well. I've been playing with the calculator and trying to finish up that budget proposal before Sunday. I just want that behind me so I can start to advertise. The hard part is knowing exactly what to price things like the snack stuff at. I guess I can somehow find an about price on line to be able to do it. Back to work. My coffee is losing it's steam. hugs!

| Joyce, Congratulations to your son for both the play and the spelling bee. You must be so proud. I am in awe of those of you that do such a wonderful job of being a strong advocate for your children. I am sure God will guide you to the best path for your son. You will continue to be in my prayers.

| | My availability to read and post on the forum is very limited right now due to many family activities. I just had to take a moment to tell you about a Blessing I had this morning. My youngest was talking to me about school and the state testing he is taking right now. He said "Well the hardest part is done. We had the big essays yesterday." and then we were talking further about what a good writer he is and that I'm sure he did his best blah blah blah. Somehow the conversation turned to the topic he wrote about. Here is where the tears came. He told me he wrote about me and how proud he is of me for always being there to help out when people need help. He said he specifically wrote about him being in this musical and that I made plans to help him with costumes back stage, but not only have I jumped in for that but also have jumped in to make sure the other kids are making their cues. I popped an email to his teacher and she told me the topic was to write about their HERO. gulp. I told the teacher her email made it worth every hurtful comment people have made about me being overbearing, overprotective, over reacting, controlling, and it being all about me and my kids. So there is my gift from God today. Thanks for the continued prayers as we get through the Spelling be tonight and the next few days of performances. Oh and throw in a team meeting for my older son which will determine what to do next with his education. ugh. I'm going to need a vacation when this is all done.
