| | That's wonderful, Joyce. Not to "steal your thunder" but rather to share in your joy...I was also going to post today about the essay my daughter wrote. She was assigned to write about someone in the diocese she admired. She picked me! She wrote about my work in the church (especially VBS) and also about how I'm there for her as a mother (which, of course, is the best part in my eyes!). She wrote that she wants to be like me. Sigh...I'll be living off of that one for a while! I'm really impressed though that your SON wrote it. I doubt I would get that kind of affirmation from my son....but I can always hope!

| | Well Mindy, you know better than anyone on the Forum how special my youngest son is. I'd like to take credit that I"m doing something right in regard to him, but in truth he just has one of those wonderful personalities. He's a true gift. Congratulations on sharing my joy! Never fails though. I seem to get a compliment in one direction and then on the other side, I'm kicked in the butt. I got an email that is not settling well in regard to my oldest son. I really need the prayers for Friday.

| | This kid never stops blessing me. Tonight my son made it to like the 5th or 6th round in the Regional Spelling bee and then when he was out, he said "I want to watch to see if my new friend wins". I'm just so impressed with his personality. Another day down and 3 more busy ones to go.

| Awwwww.....your a hero!! That is one for the "I will never forget this moment" books. I love moments like that..... although the closest I am to the hero around here is dinner! I hear ya on not being on the boards....I am aiming for the P/C, decorations, logistics...only weeks till our AR! I will miss you at the training party this Saturday....sniff sniff. I am praying for Josh, I know you won't ever give up....even if it is not the first choice placement; don't settle for only what they recommend. They honesly don't want to pay for 'what's best for him'. They would be broke. Hope all is well, and to talk to you soon. Did you know your PM is full?? Or has it been for weeks and I am just finding out? Among other things!

| Awwww Joyce! I just got to read this! I am so proud of Joey - what an awesome thing for him to do - AND - to have the courage to tell you he wrote about you! I think my kids would be embarressed. You should be sooooo proud! Hugs!

| | didn't realize my pm was full. Thanks I'll clean up. Well the musical is over. What a nice experience for my son and he was great. The hardest part was seeing him start to take interest in the female Leads. hmmm Hate to say I'm glad it's over, but I am. Now I have to try to get into a routine of real life for a while. Thanks for your continued prayers. My meeting on Friday did not got as I had expected. I'm a little frustrated. I don't know what is going to happen next.

| | Since this post relates to the original post, I'm updating my request for prayers. I want to trust God has this all working for his God and blessings for my son, but I'm having a problem remembering to trust God right now. I'm feeling that it's not clear what he is asking me to do and I'm just feeling more and more down. We have had more incidences with my son in a fight/flight mode and almost getting hit by a car as he bolted away from staff. It's definite he is going to a different school and I thought I found one, but today I was told they can't meet him until the middle of June and at that time they will decide if there school is a match. Of course the down side is if they say they are not a match, then he either stays where he is now which is not safe or we start the process to find another school. Of course being the proactive person that I am with trying not to wait for the last minute, I'll make phone calls to get referrals to other schools, but this is all so depressing and complicated that I can't even add the details to really tell you how hard this is. So yes, as I continue to try to get outside myself and pray for all of you, please pray for my family as we continue down this difficult road. I know in the end God will Bless him. Thanks Joyce

| | Joyce, I will always be here to pray for you. If I could catch a rainbow I would do it just for you and share with you its beauty On the days you're feeling blue.
If I could build a mountain You could call your very own; A place to find serenity, A place to be alone. If I could take your troubles I would toss them in the sea, But all these things I'm finding are impossible for me.
I cannot build a mountain Or catch a rainbow fair, But let me be what I know best, A friend who's always there.
