| Okay . . . this is when you really know VBS has become an obsession. I was in a wholesale outlet getting the blue cellophane for our fountain when I saw a shelf full of styrofoam heads. Hmmm . . . I thought to myself, Now I know where to get a styrofoam head if I ever need one! A couple of days later, the idea came. What if we put them in our Toga Shop (we're calling it the Garment Shop) and had them on display with various head coverings on them? So, a cartful of heads and some faux stone spray paint later . . .

The female has a little extra-terrestrial thing going, don'tcha think????

| I have been looking for the styrofoam heads to display our wigs in the toga shop. I have no idea where to get them and we don't have a place like you bought yours. Does anyone know where I can pick them up? Also, how are you making your water feature?

| If you click on the highlighted word "fountain" in my initial post here, it'll take you to the post where I talk about our fountain. Check it out -- it's really cool and super cheap! I did a Google search for "styrofoam heads" and came up with a ton of listings. They should probably run in the neighborhood of $3-$5 plus shipping. That shouldn't be much because they weigh practically nothing.

You can also just pick up the styro heads at any Sally Beauty Supply or for that matter, most any beauty supply shop.
Do be careful with the spray paint though - most will eat holes right thru the styro unless you coat it with an acrylic paint first.

We spray primed ours first. It ate just a little away, but that just made them look more aged. One of the females does look like she has a mild case of a flesh-eating virus, though!
