We don't have the money to purchase the books for each child.  Are any of you making pages to go along with the God Sightings for the preschoolers?  I'm just trying to figure out what to use for this age.

Are you looking for something to replace the little lights? If so, what if you used stickers? Maybe you could find some firefly stickers and on a poster make a night sky and they can stick a sticker per God Sighting. By the end of the VBS your sky will be filled with sightings! Hope that helps.

We're going to use the firefly shape from the Director's Manual for the supply donations as our visual for the God Sightings. All you need to do is trace the outline onto colored paper and make copies. Then cut them out. We'll have tape or something to stick them up each day.

Stickers are a good idea but they might be too small for the God Sightings.

God Bless,

Josh

No, we are using lights on stage.  I'm looking for someone who has made the preschool books themselves.  I like the pages they use in the preschool books that give examples of God sightings for the children.  I think it makes it easier for them (and the parents) to understand it.

Some had posted pages of God Sightings that they had created for preschoolers. I looked at them and thought they were great but I can't find them now.  Does anyone know what I am talking about?  And if so can you share??

Thanks

I made books for our kids to use the daily stickers. We had the older kids write the bible verse for the day, but Rocky's gang had the scripture to glue in. There was a place for God sightings too. We realized that the little guys couldn't read, but their parents surely could, and it would refresh the kids' minds about what they learned as they went through the book with their parents. I did a booklet style fold over, and the kids did the daily work in them as they had time, usually just before they went home. They ran out of time one night, but caught up the next. If anyone wants a copy, email me directly, and I'll attach it for you. It's a Publisher file.
