| I really like Group's 2010 Holy Land Adventure: Egypt. I really like how Group displays the theme and how they tied it in to the story of Joseph. So I'm guessing the mascot for Egypt will be the black cat? What is it's name? God Bless, Josh

What exactly, is the overall theme/story? All it states is Joseph's journey from prison to palace. ?? I can't find anything else that goes a little indepth about Egypt.

| I think it's just the story of Joseph from Genesis. Day 1's Bible Point is God gives us hope. That probably relates to when Joseph was put in a pit by his brothers and sold to the Egyptians. Day 2's Bible Point is God gives us special abilities. This probably relates to the gifts that Joseph had to become a servant to the king and later the best man in the king's house. Day 3's Bible Point is God gives us wisdom. This probably relates to Joseph and that he could tell what the dreams were of the baker, cup bearer, and the king. Day 4's Bible Point is God gives us forgiveness. This probably relates to Joseph when he forgave his brother for what they had done. Day 5's Bible Point is God gives us a family. This probably relates to when Jospeh let his family live in Egypt with him. Does this help? God Bless, Josh

We had our Volunteer Thank You Luncheon today for Rome VBS. I already have people working on costumes and decorations for Egypt for next year. Thank you Group for making such powerful programs that turn not only us "crazy" VBS Directors into VBS addicts -- but also all our volunteers. Our church is energized!

I ordered something from Group the other day and a flyer about Egypt was included. Here's some of the information:
Egypt: Joseph's Journey from prison to palace
Egypt...where the Bible comes to life!
Egypt immerses learners in Bible-times culture, helping kids and adults step backward in time to experience new traditions...taste new foods...play new games...try new crafts...and learn from Joseph that God never leaves us alone through life's trials and triumphs!
Day 1: God gives us hope
Joseph interprets dreams in prison (Genesis 40:1-23)
Day 2: God gives us special abilities
Pharaoh puts Joseph in charge (Genesis 41:1-40)
Day 3: God gives us wisdom
Joseph leads Egypt through famine. (Genesis 41:41 to 42:5)
Day 4: God gives us forgiveness
Joseph forgives his brothers. (Genesis 42:6 to 45:15)
Day 5: God gives us a family
Joseph settles his family in Egypt (Genesis 45:16 to 47:27)
Egypt...Experience Joseph's incredible faith journey -- right alongside "the Dreamer"!
Each day your kids visit Joseph -- first in prison, then in Pharaoh's palace! As Joseph welcomes his visitors, he'll share his perspective, his emotions, and his faith. Hearing about God's real-life promises from Joseph himself prompts memorable learning -- powerful!
Egypt...perfect for families!
As families participate in your VBS, they'll pray, play, laugh, and grow in faith -- together. They'll experience marketplace adventures, encounters with Pharaoh's guards, meetings with Joseph...and more! And after VBS, the faith-building continues with the Egypt devotion booklet for families.
