| I have a question about the Operation Kid-to-Kid Missions Project for Crocodile Dock. Do we need to buy the Survivor Books that go with the Comfort Critters or can we just send the completed Comfort Critters? Our VBS is very tight with funds and it would cost us $100 for Survivor Books. Thanks in advance for your help! God Bless, Josh

You can do the Operation Kid-to-Kid program with just the Comfort Critters; however, the Survivor Books are an important part of the program. They are what show the receivers that Kids made the Critters, and they also have a very special message inside, connecting the receiver to God's word.

| Josh- maybe you can get church members to foot the cost of the books...maybe each child that comes to VBS can donate $1 to help cover the costs....maybe someone on the forum has left over books that they can donate to you....I only have 9 and am waiting to hear from someone if they want them just some ideas that hit me when I read your post. good luck Jennifer, DE

| Our Crocodile Dock VBS was last week so the kids have already made the turtles and have already left the dock. The Crawfish Crafts & Missions Leader made papers for the kids to draw a picture on for the kid recieving it. From other posts on this board, I realize that you're not supposed to do that because they want all of the Comfort Critters to be the same. I feel bad that we're sending the Comfort Critters with the papers and not the Survivor Books but that's all our church can do. If my VBS Director hasn't sent them, I'll see if I can get the leftover Survivor Guides from other churches. It's just a mess. Our Crocodile Dock was just smashed together this year. God Bless, Josh
