Day 5 was fun. We pretty much followed the plan walk through the church and split Red Sea. My husband was Moses and danced while we finished the Bible Bayou with the theme song. Kids loved it. They really liked getting sprayed.
We had a major storm today and that made attendance be down. Several homes in the area were flooded. We had 140 kids??? I think. It might have been 130??
As for the slime, we tried it last year with Power Lab. It is a yummy mixture of vanilla pudding, applesauce, milk and green food coloring. Last year it was "slime". This year we called it "swamp water".
I was warned that it would be me that was slimed. I came prepared with a rain poncho and shower cap. The kids shouted "Take it off" so the rain poncho had to come off. (Side note....That is the first time those words have ever been shouted at me!!! LOL) They had me in a baby pool and the platform was lined with clear plastic drop cloths to cut down on the mess. There are some pictures on Facebook so I'll see if I can end up posting. They also show our cute stage set up.
Bible school is a blast!!! I hope everyone else has such a positive experience!
