We usually use Group's "Easy" VBS each year, but think that Egypt and Joseph will be a terrific theme next year. I'm not seeing any dvd or daily movie clips similar to Chadder's daily adventure in the HolyLand set-ups. Is there one that goes along with the area called "drama"?

There is no DVD of the dramas unless it is on the Spend A While on the Nile DVD. I remember one year there was the dramas on a DVD for Holy Land Adventure.  The daily dramas at Egypt are done by actors and are not on a video. Group provides a manual in the starter kit to help you with everything you need for the daily dramas. Group's Holy Land Adventure is all about experiencing Bible times. Technology isn't really used during this VBS.

God Bless,

The DVD that I was talking about is in the Egypt Starter Kit.

Group,

Is there going to be a Egypt Music DVD for sale? There isn't one in the Starter Kit. Will the songs be included on the Spend a While on the Nile DVD?

God Bless,

Josh

Are the starter kits actually available now? I asked at my local Christian Book Store and they told me that they wouldn't be available until December.

The Egypt Starter Kit will ship from Group on December 9th, 2009. If you want to be one of the first ones to get it, order it from Group directly.

God Bless,

Josh

There isn't a "daily drama" per se in Egypt. Kids and adults visit Joseph each day and he shares part of his story in an interactive way--if you used Rome, it's similar to what happened with Paul and the Underground Church. But even BETTER! We discovered that since the Bible story and Bible Point had such a strong connection there, we didn't need a daily drama in the Marketplace. And that made it even easier for recruiting!
