When will we be able to hear more of the songs, the songs are one of the biggest factors for our kids. Today is our last day of Crocodile Dock and I can't even count how many compliments and raving reviews the kids and their families have given us about this VBS. It's our first year using Group VBS and I'm convinced we made the right choice.

My first impression of the High Seas theme song was "it's okay" I hope the other songs compare to Crocodile Dock. The kids don't want to leave Firefly Finale they want to keep singing.

I'm with Jenny, the High Seas song on the website is okay... but that's not the feeling of "awesome" that I get from the CrocDock songs. I want the kids to enjoy their worship experience next year like they have this year, and last, and the year before. We better give it some time to hear all the songs before we judge too harshly. There has been a good mix in the past, so there's lots of hope for diversity, and "everybody's favorite", right?

I think to really enjoy the song you need to wait until your house is empty (meaning that your 22 yr old son and 23 yr old daughter are out of the house) and then turn the volume up full blast and dance around like a sailor - but first, turn a fan on high-speed to create the wind, and spray the air with water to get the "ocean" effect!

Debbie, you've got the idea... yes, we should rid our homes of those early 20's nay saying children, and yes, we need fans, the spray, the salt water, the sailor hat, the enthusiasm of the voyage! Yes! That's what we need! I can hear it now! I need a cruise, clearly I do. Who's with me? We could probably write it off as preparation for VBS, right?

Hey I'm a 20 year old I did not like the song at first but it is catchy and I had it stuck in my head for a long time. I'm excited to hear the music I was not as thrilled with all of this years song for Crocodile Dock. I hope they are more younger kid friendly. Our VBS includes kids aging from 4 year olds to 4th graders.

I LOVE the song from what I've heard!  I think it sounds very upbeat and cheery, very musically fun.

It's driving me CRAZY that I can't look at anything or hear any songs for 2010's VBS.  We ordered our curriculum today and to think that I can't look at it until December/January is making me nuts!

OK, so a magic little fairy sent me a secret preview CD of the music for High Seas.  Trust me, you are going to LOVE it!

Some of the songs you are going to know include Ancient Words, Shout to the North, I Could Sing of Your Love Forever, Today is the Day (Lincoln Brewster's!) and a bunch more.  The songs are GREAT!!  Even my teenagers were rockin out a couple of times!  LOL

Your lucky Peggy!

I'm sure Group's music will be great for High Seas Expedition. Group does an awesome job with their music every year and then the next year they top the previous year. No other VBS publisher could top Group's VBS music.

God Bless,

Josh
