Sure, about the palm trees, We did use the carpet tubes for the tree trunks and we cut the top out of foam board and painted it green, then we attached it to the carpet tube with screws and we painted the screw heads green. I think we had a template for the top (we've had these for so long that I've forgotten where we got the picture for the top) If you have an overhead projector and some inkjet transperancies, then you can use just about any picture of a palm tree and cut it out of foam. These were made from the really thin foam, (the blue board from Lowes) Good luck with everything and God Bless!

Thanks so much for posting your pictures. I got a lot of great ideas from them. Can you give me more info on how you did the walls outside Paul's house? At first it just looked like butcher paper, but in the last few pictures it looked 3D. I'd love to recreate that effect!

Hi, we used brown packing paper for the scribe shop (like you would use to mail something, usually located near the envelopes and stationary in Walmart) It comes in a roll like christmas paper and there is a lot of it. We just cut it into pieces and it was really cheap.

Sure, I'll help you with the walls outside Pauls House, do you mean the stone walls that are black and white or the walls with the windows and the doors? The walls that have the windows and the doors are made from Blue foam board painted to look like stone or some type of masonry. It was really easy. The paper that looks like rocks was purchased from Shindigz. Is that what you needed to know? Good luck with everything and God BLess
