Please pray for our VBS July 12-16.  A grandmother in our church sent me a letter with her registration form for her two grandchildren that live out of state.  Her daughter was raised in church but within the last few years has turned her back on God and has shut Him out of her life and her children's lives.  The kids are 7 and 9.  The oldest barely remembers ever coming to church and the younger one does not remember anything about Jesus or church. The kids will be visiting their grandmother and their mother is allowing them to come to our VBS with her mom.  Please pray that we will plant a seed of those kids and show them the love of Jesus and they can help reach their mom and prayerfully their mom will come back to God.

Saying a prayer that God will use your VBS to reach out to these children and that they may take Jesus into their lives. The spark they receive then can start a fire burning in their Mom. Blessings on Grandma for making sure the kids get that opportunity.

God Bless
Kathy

This is exactly when God really gets to show off. Your VBS will be what the children need to create an interest in their lives for Jesus. They may not even know they need Him, but they'll learn through Crocodile Dock that they have nothing to fear when they put their trust in Him. Their Mom will also be reminded of the joy that comes from learning God's Word and being in the presence of Christian people who love God and love each other. You're in for a real treat, I just know it. Sit back and let God do what He does best, bless the socks off of everyone who trusts Him.

May each of your endeavors be fruitful. May you have energy, stamina and creativity to handle each issue that arises through your VBS. Thanks for sharing your situation with us. It reminds us that kids are specific people in need of God's touch. It is our responsibility to do our part, but when God does His, it's just beautiful.

Thanks so much for your prayers and encouraging words...I can't wait to see what God is going to do.  As we like to say, God is gonna Show Up and Show Out!

I add my prayers for your success in this difficult situation. May the Lord use your efforts this week at VBS to touch these young souls and bring them home to Him and through  their faith may their mother also come home to Jesus Christ.   Fear Not to  Shine God's Light!
