We tried using them for group leaders or helpers but we always had tag alongs and they ended up in doing as they pleased causing problems.
We don't use the group material for them. They go to the openning and closing and they do crafts. I need some ideas for them this year. Last year we brought in people to present to them. For example one night we had an officer to come in and talk to them about gangs. This was very interesting not only for the young people. I had some of the group leaders sneaking in while their groups were in Chadder and the Bible Adventure. We also had an officer to come in and talk about drug awareness and we had someone to come in and talk about internet predators. The group leaders provided some scripture for them.
