| How's this? The white spaces were just the t-shirt material, the only ink used on ours was black. Our printer also scaled the image according to the t-shirt sizes!

| Okay - my son & I tried this out - 2 different ways - still not sure what to think - using the toothbrush for the glow in the dark paint is really hard to get it to splatter & very messy. May try a couple other methods too. We used black & hot pink spray fabric paint & then the glow in the dark paint with the toothbrush to splatter - going to try to find another way to splatter - maybe a bigger brush like a scrub brush or bottle brush??? Off to the dollar store to hunt for one!!! On my son's shirt (on the left) he outlined his letters with the glow in the dark puffy paint. The shirts are the same color . . . even though they look different in the pics! Thanks for all the tips & hints!!! Melissa in PA

| Joni, The shirts looks super! I'm glad the fear not design will work for your church too! Melissa, I think your shirts look super too! The kids will have a lot of fun making those. Isn't it so frustrating/time consuming/expensive to test out the crafts (& experiments) ahead of time?

| Thank you Pam for sharing that Logo-I love it!--and Joni--your shirts look fantastic!! We always do a shirt craft and we are doing the "fear not" on the back of a black shirt-the kids will sponge yellow paint that has the glo-in-the-dark paint added to it. Last year, we did "God Power" in the shape of a cross-"GOD" across, "POWER" down-with the words sharing the "O". We used a Cricut & cut out those letters & had our volunteers stick them down before VBS--then the kids spray-died the shirts & then took off the letters. The examples we did turned out great--but the actual ones, well...the kids were able to use all colors-and they all mixed together when they sprayed and that part didn't look so good! Anyway-in the past, we've put a cross made out of masking tape on the shirts and the kids have sponge painted around the tape, then took the tape off the next day--We have done those for years, and they always turn out great! We have always just used regular acrylic craft paint on unwashed shirts--My kids & I still have shirts we have made over the years and they still look great! We are doing black shirts for the kids this year for a change--I think they'll love them! We were trying to make the Fear Not logo with the "t" as a cross--I LOVE THIS FORUM!! You saved us more work!! THANKS & Blessings to all!! Twyla in Topeka

Twyla, do you have to add a fabric medium or anything to the acrylic paint? Acrylic is obviously much cheaper than fabric paint and comes in so many more colors. Also wondering whether it matters whether the shirt is 50/50 vs 100% cotton. Thank you.

| Melissa, If you haven't bought and washed all the shirts yet and if you are not happy with how it turned out try using a black or dark purple shirt like they recommended. Not sure if this helps.
