| Our VBS starts tomorrow night. I had 2 people tell me Wednesday that they aren't going to be there. I had 3 other people tell me today they aren't going to be there tomorrow night. And one of my crew leaders decided he didn't want to be a crew leader--too much work. Needless to say, I am little bit stressed. On top of all of that, I can't find my DVD for Stomp Swamp. We always play the video for the kids to see the motions. My daughters had it last week, and now I can't find it anywhere. I mailed a copy to another church because I had an extra. I'm afraid I may have sent the only copy that I really had. Please pray that God will direct me to the exact spot where the DVD is. I know God is going to do something really wonderful this week as much as Satan has been fighting. Thanks for your prayers. Cara in Oklahoma

Okay...God works really fast. I just found my DVD. It was under the driver's seat in our minivan. PTL !!!Cara in OK

Hi Cara. It will be okay, and God will help you with all of your needs. I know the frustration of people backing out at the last minute, but every year there are a few adults or teens who are ready to jump in and help, and they become great crew leaders. I bet that will happen to you too. Don't hesitate to ask! If you're not doing registration, stand nearby and recruit parents. Do a quickie orientation and get them enlisted and committed for the whole week. It will work out. I bet you find your DVD, but if you don't, use the CD and make it work. Just be sure the songleader knows the motions to follow, even if they're not the real ones. Motion with confidence, and who would know?

Cara,
Saying a prayer that you will have other people step forward to volunteer. Those volunteers who can not be there don't know what they will miss as God was waiting for them to see Him through the eyes of children. I was amazed at the God sightings the kids told us about. One little girl was so happy as her dad could be at the finale one night. One of our all most four year olds last year has been bugging her Mom most of the year as she had so much fun and on the 4th of July when we had sign ups she asked her mom to register her. Last year she was very shy and this year she was dancing to every song. Day 4 finale is so powerful it reaches out to kids and adults.
Praying for a lot of God sightings at your week of Crocodile dock.

God is faithful and knows what will go on...we are the ones that worry...lol...not Him....you know that saying : God works in mysterious ways??? Maybe there is a reason those people should not be at your VBS...maybe God had a reason for it..and if not..its better they quit now then in the middle of it and leave a crew of kids...I will pray God will help you all and that He will send the right crew leaders etc.....Get ready for an amazing time....I tell you tonight is our last night and the presence of God has been so amazing..I wish it didn't have to end! Keep up the good work. God is faithful!...and don't forget what we are teaching the kids all week....FEAR NOT!
