| Ok...I've tried and tried to cut the paper for the pass through paper. I saw someone posted this earlier, but the links that were posted are not working. I cut the paper and even if I do get it to come out with a hole in the middle how in the world is a kid supposed to walk through that? I can barely fit my big toe in the hole. Am I missing something? It says to put it down over the kid's head and take it to their feet. WHAT? I have to be missing something. Someone help please.

You probably did not cut on the solid lines going the other way. After you cut on the long lines switching direction each time. You have to go back and cut the small ends. Start at the top, do not cut the first one as it is a dotted line. Cut the second solid line and continue down. Do not cut the last line as it is a dotted line. Your circle should be opening up as it falls. It is big enough to put over a child's head. Actually I could put it over my head, too. Once you master it cut a few and have ready to just pick up and use. The person who does Chadder for us always says they do not have time to do all that is in their station guide.

I had the WORST time with this activity!
Take a look at the paper, and I'll try to give you step-by-steps
Fold in half on the blue dotted line.... so you can see all the green lines on one side of the paper
Notice how not all the lines touch your fold? Just some?
Cut the lines that touch your fold until the green line stops (DONT CUT IT OFF!)
The lines that DON'T touch your fold touch the end opposite of the fold, correct?
Cut those until the green line stops.
Now your pass-through paper should look like you just put it through the shredder (kinda)
The purple line is part of your fold and overlaps with the blue dotted line....
Notice that the solid purple line doesn't extend all the way through to the ends of the paper, like the blue dots do.
Put the blades of your scissors in the fold (don't cut the ends!!) and cut. Cut the next one. You should cut the fold about four or five times if I remember correctly.
We had a really tough time with the paper and found that our crews had some little kids that wouldn't be able to this for sure. So I found that if you teach the Crew Leaders, and have the crews pass through the paper their crew leader made. It was so efficient.

| Thank you all for your help. I finally handed the paper and instructions to another leader and of course she figured it out on the first try. What a COOL thing to show the kids. I do this lesson tonight so I'm excited to see what happens.
