| I've gotten three from a "Spanish ministry in South Jersey and we work we low income kids, our goal is to reach the kids of our community." The first said, "We want to use Rome for our midweek program, , but our budget is very small. If you have any leftovers and you would donate to us, please email me at..." The second said, "We want to use Previous VBS t for our midweek program, but our budget is very small. If you have any leftovers and you would donate to us, please email me at..." The third said, "We want to use Jerusalem Market for our midweek program, but our budget is very small. If you have any leftovers and you would donate to us, please email me at..." The email address is the same for all three. Has anyone else gotten something similar? This doesn't sound legitimate to me! I guess I'm also kind of suspicious about private messages asking for general donation help like that when most people just put up those kinds of requests on the board.

Actually, that is a legitimate member of the board, Ivi. I also received an email. I think she is just working hard to get stuff for her ministry.

| I am new on the site as of this afternoon - and I just got a message from a Sylvia23 - using this as a social network site - wanting me to respond to them via a different email address and so on - not pretty - anyway is there away to report or block spamers on here? I just left a message at the 1800# but then thought I would leave a comment here as well. I hope this doesn't happen all the time - this seems to be such a great way for all of us to chat Kerry

| Thanks for the replies - I am very new here - I see there are members and moderators - are the moderators connected to group?> Just checking on what peoples roles are? I see on some of the forums it appears that someone from Group does keep a check on here. I understand spam will happen and it is good to have a place to keep record of the crazies - especially when you are knew to the site ... and not quite sure how to navigate it K
