Hi! I'm the Director of Communications at a rather large church in SC. Of course, I'm always trying to get ahead on my promotional work for every event we offer, but VBS is my absolute favorite! I love the theme and the Bible buddies for High Seas, but I do have one question if anyone can help me out. I know if I'd be patient, it'll show up on the website, but patience is not exactly my greatest virtue. What are the fonts used in the High Seas logo?

The fonts we use for each program will be posted on the VBS website at the end of August.  Way to get a head start!

I'm not sure if I've found the exact font used for "High Seas" -- but I think I've found one that is awfully close It's Ballpark Weiner, and I was able to download it at dafont.com. I haven't pinpointed fonts that look like the "Expedition" or "Exploring the Mighty Love of God" yet.

God Bless!

[post edit] p.s. I was actually looking more closely at "Ballpark" and thought it wasn't as good a match as I first thought... so I found a site (identifont.com) where you can see a list of 'similar' fonts to a font you specify. Ballpark wasn't listed, so I just put in 'park' in the search and found a couple more, like "Fenway Park" that is similar. Using Fenway as my starting point, there's a couple others that look promising. Unfortunately, most if not all of the fonts listed must be purchased, and I do not have the budget for purchasing fonts... so I'm always looking for a free alternative that is close. Of course, we won't know for sure until Group posts the official fonts used But like you, I've already started some items for next year, and having a matching font helps

"Therefore, go and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit. Teach these new disciples to obey all the commands I have given you. And be sure of this: I am with you always, even to the end of the age." ~Matthew 28:19-20

The fonts listed on the website are great, but the one used in the word "HIGH SEAS" isn't listed. What is this one?
