We loved this hla format this was the first time using it and I have had nothing but wonderful feedback and we are already looking to Egypt 2010.  Here are a few pictures from Rome.  http://picasaweb.google.com/JoyBracero/RomeVBS2009?authkey=Gv1sRgCP6fm_rLrovC9QE&feat=directlink

I do suggest having either a station closed each night or having an extra craft in case they have finished everything. The little kids loved the Architect shop. we made wooden box frames and had all size tiles and blocks for mosaics and I know my 2 yr old spent a lot of time there building. Also the scribe shop was a hit with all ages. We suggest having plenty of soldier costumes on hand (I got mine on sale after Chirstmas) and I went and bought 2 more during our vbs week because the boys and girls loved prentending to be roman guards and reinacting the dramas. The Toga lady offered a "free" photo with a rental and then had them the next day so they could scrapbook a picture or make a frame (popsicle stick frame) just more easy and cheap Ideas. Have Fun I know we did.
