We really wanted to incorporate some sort of mosaic craft since that art form was prominent in ancient Rome.
What we ended up with was a jar candle holder that the children can carry into the Underground Church with them. Our Underground Church is very dark so this will help with ambient lighting and be a fun craft for them as well.
Our shopkeeper is attaching the wire handles on jelly jars ahead of time. Then the kids will use adhesive foam in geometric shapes to create mosaics on the sides. For the candles, we ordered the LED ones that Group was selling with Crocodile Dock.
