When I went around asking for sheet donations at hotels, one place game me about 100 white pillow cases. At first I had no idea what to do with them, but then I realized they are the perfect size for child tunics. I cut out a neck line and arm holes and made one for every child. Then when they went to the toga shop they got a tunic and tried on the toga for a picture and got to keep their own tunic.
This turned out amazing. I even made "toddler tunics" by cutting off the bottom 4 inches and then using that sheet of fabric to wrap like a toga. I have never seen a cuter outfit on the little ones!
We had some rope to use to wrap around the waste, but not enough for every child to keep.

| This is an awesome idea! I've chosen Rome for VBS 2010 and am really excited about it. Thanks for sharing your discovery!
